Our story

Everbreeze was founded by Arie Hoogenboezem – a South African HVAC engineer (Pr. Eng (Mech)) with more than 20 years of industry experience. After evaluating alternative cooling solutions suitable for the African market and its unique conditions, he devised a solution for workplace and public space temperature issues using innovative, accessible technology, designed and engineered to meet unique local demands.

How do Everbreeze hvls fans work

The aerofoils push a cylindrical column of air vertically downwards. As soon as the air reaches an obstruction (like a floor) the air is forced to move outwards horizontally in all directions. The air is then recirculated back at high level to the aerofoil top side.

Correct fan placement is crucial for maximising airflow distribution while adhering to safety standards. Our engineers can perform a complimentary Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation to determine the correct number and placement of fans required to generate optimum airflow in your premises.

We recommend a minimum of 4m height above the ground for best performance.

Manufactured to the highest technical specifications, all Everbreeze designs undergo a rigorous independent safety audit. They are fitted with an accelerometer that automatically switches the fan off if it detects any irregular movements or receives a signal from the building’s fire detection system. Additional safety features include a hub retainer safety system and optional guy wires and safety cables.

Able to cope with humidity

Everbreeze HVLS fans continually redistribute the air and can mitigate the impacts of humidity on people and stock/produce by preventing the air from becoming saturated with moisture.
